Today our Little Man turned THREE!  It was a fairly quiet day that started with the following conversation between Jack and I.  Let me set the scene for you – I was trying to use the bathroom by myself (silly thought I know) when in he wakes with his eyes mostly open, Puppy and Blankie rolled up and barely fitting in his arm.

Jess:  Good morning, Jack.  Happy Birthday!
Jack:  My birthday?!?!  Where birthday cake?  Blow out candles?

Guess you can see where his priorities were even at 7:30 in the morning.  With the promise of muffins for breakfast and cake later we were able to proceed with our day.  The rest of the day was uneventful.  Jack & Anna “helped” me inventory and put in storage over half of our dvds and when I say “helped” I mean they played in the storage bins until I kicked them out.  After naptime we went out in the pouring ran (do you think the weather knows is November and not April?) to pick up the birthday cake. We returned home to open some presents and then dinner.  Shortly after that Adam and Nicole joined us for the cake and ice cream.
