It is currently 11:30 pm on Monday evening and I am happy to report that after our journey around northern IL we successfully made it home from our travels.

We left our place Friday evening and the kids slept most of the drive to my brother Joe's house. 

Sunday was Laura's graduation ceremony and I'm happy to report that the school gave her the diploma and the party began shortly thereafter.  That evening while wondering if a tornado was headed our way we played Wii, but this time it wasn't as dangerous.

Today we went and spent the day with Dawn doing what Anna loves to do, playing at parks.  She climbed stairs to slides and slid down.  It was decided that if the slide is enclosed she will go head first because she can't see where she's going otherwise.  Pretty comical to watch.

I bet a bunch of you are wondering about pictures.  Yes, we took them.  About 428 of them to be specific.  So it will take us a couple of days to get thru them because while I'm sure you'd love to see them all, I don't want you to see the bad ones.  

The new thing from this weekend is "Bob".  From about Thursday/Friday, Anna has been calling her pacifer something that sounds like it starts with a "b".  During the trip we tried out several names but we didn't like them.  This evening I asked Anna if she was calling her pacifier Bob and she said a firm yes.  So, her pacifier(s) from this point forward will be called "Bob", but since she is only to use them when going to sleep don't be surprised if you don't see "Bob" frequently.

Off to convince Jack that its time to stop going crazy in his exersaucer, which he didn't get to play in at all today, and time to go to bed.....I think I'm being overly optimistic.
