**** UPDATE ****
It's offically a hiking Saturday. Adam, Matt, Mike, and Myself will be heading out for a morning of hiking and fun. We'll try to get some video and photos to share from the little trip. Hopefully, we have something fun to show you.
Bright and early on Saturday, our trio will be heading up to Matthiessen State Park in Illinois. This park is just south of Starved Rock. Normally, I'd go to Starved Rock, but that park has gone the way of the boardwalk. Alot of the basic trails are coverd by decks. Close to handicap accessible. Otherwise, down right annoying. My grandmother had no problem with Starved Rock.
Matthiessen, however, doesn't have all the decking boardwalk crap. It's got trails. Their made of dirt, rock, obstacles, and water. The only wood is the live trees your moving through. It's even got the canyons and falls that Starved Rock boasts. Not as many, but there is less foot traffic too.
Regardless, it should be fun.
