Our little girl is now eight months old. Anna now has two teeth, both on the bottom. They have proven useful in her attempts to mutilate Anna Landmines (aka Cheerios) and more recently cantaloupe. She is very mobile. She does a modified bear walk/crawl (2 hands, 1 foot, 1 knee) to get from place to place but if she wants to get there in a hurry she does a conventional crawl (two knees and two hands). Anna seems to love crawling to a spot and pulling herself up to bang on the surface. Her frequent victims are the coffee table and dryer lid when I’m doing laundry. Anna also likes to sit on my lap while I’m trying to do stuff on my computer. It wasn’t a problem until recently when her reach increased to include my space bar and the back/forward buttons on my keyboard. Anna is also starting to understand “No”. Well, at least when Damion tells her in his daddy voice or when I tell her as she is crawling towards Kina litter box. She is cute about her attempts to do certain things, like play with the dvd player or receiver, because she will crawl to it, touch it and look at us waiting for our reactions.
