Welcome to damionandjess.com!

We are making configuration changes to the website over the next couple of weeks.  If something doesn't work, or images don't appear, we are working on it.  Thanks for being patient!

You have all been patient, waiting for whatever this project is.  At last, it's here and I've already been working on it for a while. I got a motorcycle, and a half, or so.  I don't really know yet because it mostly came in bins, mostly.  There are two frames, but one is cut up.  Can you say "parts"?  The other frame was a whole one.  I've got a good frame, and engine and bins full of parts.  Let's ride, shall we?

Basic details:

  • 1974 Honda CB750 Frame
  • 1978 Honda CB750 Engine
  • Two frames (one chopped in half)
  • Bins of parts...

So the question is, what's the time line to build it?  My goal is to be able to get it on the road by next spring.  I've made quite a bit of progress already.

Since I've started two weeks ago:

  • Good frame had surface rust scraped / sanded off and it was cleaned.
  • The frame was painted a nice flat black.
  • The chopped frame was parted out with wheels and shocks going to the good frame.

When I acutally type it out, it doesn't seem like I really did that much, but it did take many hours.  But what do you care?  You want pictures!

Ask (my brother left me a voicemail asking for pictures) and  I shall provide...
