Yesterday we received a bunch of snow in Central
Illinois. I think it measures in around 7-8 inches but it
was really windy. In our yard we have an area that is about 1 inch deep
but drifts that are almost 4 feet! The drifts are nicely located around
our sidewalk and in front of our garage doors. Until we get ourselves dug
out (which will happen faster once Anna takes her morning nap since Damion and
I can both work on it) we are limited to the Jeep.
However yesterday while Damion and Adam where surveying the
area yesterday something happened with the cooling system. And no, Damion did not do anything to cause
the problem. He is currently in the
process of taking it to the dealership to be fixed. Based off the info Damion provided it may be
a part failure which should be covered under our warranty. Yeah warranty!
And of course, when Damion and Adam were out yesterday they
took 187 pictures in the course of an hour and a half. Some of them have been uploaded to the
gallery for viewing if you wish.

Snow Written by pickle on 2007-02-15 05:44:43 According the the NWS in Lincoln, our total snowfall in normal was 12.5 inches. YUCK! | Snow Measurements Written by jess on 2007-02-15 12:09:33 I'm not going to argue with Pickes and the amount of snow received because she has the National Weather Service on her side. BUT if you take the areas that have one inch and the areas that have four feet (48 inches) and average them together then that makes a snow fall of 2.0416 feet of snow. That is what I removed from part of my driveway, not 12.5 inches. Maybe next snow fall somebody from NWS will come and remove the difference between what is on my driveway and what they have for a measurement.....just a thought. |
