Sorry for the lack of updates recently but I have a nice little rant about why I haven't written much lately.
The middle of April I started going to the gym.A bonus of this gym where we have our membership is that they have free child care.Well, this “free” child care has now cost us, since April 17, four co-pays to see doctors and at least four rounds of antibiotics (2 for Damion, one for each kid).It also costs me personally at least one to one and a half weeks away from the gym each round of sickness to take care of everybody.
Before this last round we (fyi - "we" is the kids and I) were last at the gym the middle of May.Both kids and Damion ended up with cold like probs.Damion saw the doctor and was told another sinus infection.Since we had Memorial Day weekend plans, we didn’t return to the gym when all were better because I didn’t want to risk the kids being sick that weekend.
I know it's 2008... and yes, I know this video is a little late. But, in the spring of 2007, Rob and I built a camera jib. I think it was primarily a learning experience, but it turned out pretty well. So, here's the video and I'll leave it to you to decide. Don't forget to clap...
I have learned something over the last week. People come here looking for pictures but don't look in the gallery for any new updates. So let me tell you what you can find.
First is the pictures from Memorial Day weekend. That weekend we went to my sister's graduation . There are party prep pictures, just because pictures, graduation pictures, party pictures and family pictures.
Second is the pictures from a photo shoot of the kids from Monday night. Please read the description before looking at the pictures.
There is at least one more set of pictures I want to get up, but today's nap time is over.
Jess occasionally sends me photos of the kids during the day. Usually attached is how they ended up that way... in this case, Jess had stepped into the office for a moment, and came back to find Jack wrapped up in a blanket with Anna's popper! He was three feet away from it all. So, he's mobile. He also seems to really like Anna's toys. As long as she says it's okay...
It occured to me that I've never published a photo of my bike. So, what did I do? I pulled out my trusty camera phone from work and took a picture for you all to look at. Of course, then I had to a program to pull the photo off the phone, then resize it, and now finally, POOF! So, now everyone can see my Trek. Of course, hopefully, tomorrow I'll no longer need to use a program to pull it off the phone, I'll just be able to email it to myself and be done with it.
I'm getting (I hope they have it in stock) a new Blackberry Curve (Verizon) tomorrow. I'm "super-excited". Well, as super-excited as I get. But it's has a camera, can do video, as well as all my normal blackberry functions. It's easily justified by Jess... so that I can take pictures and video of the kids. And post them here (added by me).
