Today our precious baby girl turns two.  I know it may sound cliche but this last year seems to gone by so fast.  Anna is now working on her counting (sometimes she gets hung up on 2 because that's how many donkeys she's met), the alphabet, coloring without eating the markers or crayons, helping cook and provide all sorts of entertainment (she's been nicknamed the minister of funny walks).

Later today we'll be having a party for her.  I'm not sure if she's more excited about seeing Granana Amy, Connor, Erin or eating the cake we got today.  

I'm sure later we'll have some pictures to share, but until then I've uploaded the ones from their birthday weekend.  One set is from the actual party, one is pictures taken at Grandpa Murnice's request and one is from the day after .

Good evening from the administrative world of DamionandJess.com.  After some scratching of my head at why Adam's comments weren't showing for the previous post I did some research to find out why.  It wasn't marked as "published".  When I asked Damion about it we had an "aha" moment and thought we should share it with those who are nice enough to take part in commenting.

Two weekends ago there was an issue with a comment and Damion set it up that all comments need to be approved before they can be seen by all.  Don't worry though.  We should be able to publish them timely because we both get email notifications of comments and can then do the behind the scenes stuff so your witty comments can be enjoyed by all.  So please remember this when you don't see your comment right away.  Oh and for the record we even have to approve our own comments.

Jack has officially said his first word.  Ready for it?  Touchdown! Yes, he’s being working on Mom and Dad but the first recognizable word is touchdown.  Can anybody guess what we were watching today and what Anna calls any sport she sees on tv?  That’s all.  Thought you all might enjoy this new development.

 Yup.  That's right.  A year ago today we welcomed Jack to our family.  As I was saying good night to my little handsome man I could not believe it has been a year already.  A year later finds him eating the same foods as we eat, taking only a couple of bottles a day, walking more than crawling, starting to talk, and, one of my favorites, holding his ground against Anna but also accepting her loving hugs and smoochies when she's apologizing.

Of course we had a party for him and Anna.  I can't speak for everybody that was there but I'd like to think that everybody had an enjoyable afternoon of watching the kids play and breakdown because they had late starts to their naps.  

Of course we have pictures from the even to share with you but there have been techinical difficulties to posting them and once my computer has a working operating system on it and I have a spare bit of time I'll share with you all the fun we had today.
