I always have reasons to admire Damion, but today I've decided to share them with you because he did several things to provide for a great start to a gloomy Monday. Last night after I went to bed at 11 he proceeded to pick up Anna's toys from the office and living room. He picked up her Cheerios that were throughout the living room (I still think they have little legs that they move themselves). He emptied out the dishwasher and did the dinner dishes. And then this morning he showed me that the he was able to successfully retrieve all the albums and captions in our gallery. Even though you can't see the link yet, he was successful! He needs to do a couple of more things before putting the link on the homepage but it should be "soon" (hey, with Jack's pending arrival I'm not setting a public deadline). I'm in the process though of looking through my picture folders and marking ones from October & November to share with everybody. Write Comment (0 Comments) |

This evening I had one of those “the house is too quiet” moments. I was working on dinner and realized I did not hear toys banging together or the running of little feet or the ramblings of an almost one year old. Off I went to find Anna. She had gone back downstairs and was sitting on the floor next to the recliner……drinking from Damion’s cup of mocha from Seattle’s Best. Why? Because she had already emptied his cup of coffee from this morning. Most of the remaining bits of drinks had been dumped on the carpet so we don’t think she drank too much. She was happily sitting there until we moved her away to clean up the mess. But she needed to be cleaned up too because she had mocha on her face, legs and arms. The mess has since been cleaned up and carpet spot treatments applied. Anna has been wiped down but still smells like a walking cup of mocha. Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Well....sort of. Anyways, I'm excited about it. The only thing that is missing at this time is the gallery. Damion is in the process of getting it up and functioning correctly. We'd probably have it by now but I have requested that every effort be made to bring back Anna's gallery with all the captioning and info that we had. So, fingers crossed. Basically I wanted to go to an apple place, don’t know why,
just did, so we did. This past weekend
we met up with Matt and Tiffany and went to a not so good place but then we
went to Tanners Orchard. Tanners
Rocked! Of course we took the camera
with us and took bunches of pictures. It
was a fun day topped off by dinner with Tiffany’s parents and apple pie back at
Matt & Tiff’s. For a day that looked
like it might not be so good, it was great!
While at Tanners we watched kids ride around the
property while sitting in barrels pulled by a tractor. It looked
like soooo much fun. Unfortunately we didn't see the adult
version of it though. As we walked by the new group getting
started the barrels started to tip over!!! Fortunately the driver
stopped as soon as people started flagging him down. Damion
rushed to help, with Anna in his arms. He came back quick and
passed her off and there he went. Fortunately none of the kids
were seriously injured, just a couple of scrapes. Kudos to the
driver though who recognized he was not in any emotional/mental
condition to keep driving the ride. We later saw him in the
market and he gave us a apple donut to try and his personal favorite
apple for pie. Nice guy.
I’ve also put up some more pictures in Anna’s gallery. There are some from yesterday and today but
also some from a couple of days in September.
If you look closely at the pictures from today you’ll see her three
established teeth and maybe you can see one of the three that are starting to make an appearance.

Ice has formed in fire and brimestone land.
That's right, you guessed it.... Rob actually put a posting up on his site. I'm suprised I didn't see this on Google News.
